Battlegrounds Mobile India: Krafton announces a big update

It seems that Krafton himself has admitted that Batgrounds Mobile India is similar to PUBG Mobile.

Millions of PUBG Mobile India fans in India are eagerly awaiting the launch of the Indian version of PUBG Mobile - Battlegrounds Mobile India. But since the announcement of Battlegrounds Mobile India, people have been busy finding similarities with PUBG Mobile.

However, it seems that the company itself has admitted that Batgrounds Mobile India is similar to or similar to PUBG Mobile. According to a report by IGN India, Krafton's CEO CH Kim did this in a statement to the media.

"In 2017, my team and I would like to express our sincere gratitude to our Indian fans for the overwhelming response from Indian fans to the first-ever developed background IP," Kim said in a statement on the game's website on June 3.

"Battlegrounds IP has received love and admiration from players around the world, and Krafton will move on to IP. The effort includes bringing wonderful content to Batgrounds Mobile India and providing an unparalleled Battle Royale experience for our players."

Krafton was called Bluehole in 2017, but the Battlegrounds IP mentioned by Kim can only refer to the popular Battle Royale game PUBG, the report said, which was the only game title launched by the company that year.

Kim's statement that the company is going to build on the same IP suggests that the Batgrounds Mobile India game may be a copy of the original PUBG mobile game, the report said.

If this can’t be a big deal in a grand scheme of things, it’s somewhat important because this closest Krafton acknowledges that Batgrounds Mobile India is basically a responsive pubg mobile.

Meanwhile, there has been speculation that Batgrounds Mobile India developer Krafton will release the game in June, but Krafton has yet to make an official announcement.

Just a few weeks after the announcement of Battlegrounds, the pre-registration on Mobile India Google Play Store has crossed 20 million.
